Beta completed - simple explanation (Third Lvl, Collectives, save/continue,cinematic and extras or easter eggs)


Well the work is complete.

First, the save and load is programed but decided to divided the map in parts so each scene represent one leve, for time i cant constantly code the save data in each room and save the data of others characters, so the save data only control (the collectives, some extra data used later and the actual scene)

The next pass was create the collectives, decided to do this to give to the players the chance to explore the entire map, and off course those have some rewards.


For you that decided to read the devlog have the chance to know what they do exactly.

* The scripts or notes: Those will tell the history of the character, like a little diary, that explain more about the game played and continue parto of the history so you can know what can come next.

* The butterflies: These are many and alter a little the title with animated butterfly, and in the extra data will show you your stats.

* Actual scene: These is some i like it, similar to the menus of half life, depending of the scene you saved recently, the me nu will chance.


Tomowwor will upload a better and more explained devlog, for know will be simple, but in the other wil contain mora about the data and code.


next with all the objects and enemies can created the last level for now.


to behonest, it was easy to create cause all the data is programed and separated. The level has many enemies but they encounter could be evited, but if want to collect all the things then you will find all of the enemies.


at the star decided to hide 4 scripts and 5 butterflies, but later changed to 4 scripts and 10 butterflies, thats cause the scenary is big enought to hide more things.


This time a had the chance to create some little and easy cinematic to try to explain a little of the history or give something more like actualgames, off course they maybe are bad implemented or something, this was created for extra value to the game like the next section.


THE EASTER EGGS

in some of the places i hide some references or ideas to my character Brom Lowell, i like the idea of these and off course is hiden easter egg of DREAD mi last song created for halloween.


With all of these created then compile all and test that the scenes works well, the save data and objects works too.


and with all of this the game is finally completed.

I promise you that tomorrow i will upload a better explained devlog, this one is so basic, the next one will be more specific with code showing x3.
